The law firm of Cottrell Solensky, P.A. consists of nine (9) attorneys engaged exclusively in the defense of personal injury actions in all Courts of the States of New Jersey (where our main office is located) and New York (where we maintain a satellite location in Elmsford, Westchester County, New York).

 

The firm was founded in 2003 by Floyd G. Cottrell, Esq., who was previously the managing partner of the New Jersey office of New York-based Newman Fitch Altheim Myers since 1995. Edward Solensky, Jr., has been a partner since November 1, 2006. The firm enjoys a diverse client base and has literally handled thousands of cases to conclusion. We are listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Registry of Pre-Eminent Attorneys and Best’s Directory of Recommended Insurance Defense Counsel.

 

The Firm’s areas of concentration include transportation-related claims (trucking, buses and rental cars); premises liability; municipal liability; construction accidents; motor vehicle cases; food and liquor liability; product liability; and insurance coverage.

Floyd G. Cottrell (Partner) is admitted to practice law in the States of New York (1984) and New Jersey (1985), as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. He is also admitted to the Bars of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. He is a graduate of Fordham College, Bronx, New York (B.A. 1980) and Fordham University School of Law (J.D. 1983).

Edward Solensky Jr.

Edward Solensky, Jr. (Partner) focuses his practice on insurance defense and coverage, premises liability, transportation law, and product liability matters. For the past twenty years, he has successfully defended cases for supermarkets and retailers, restaurants, common carriers, and product manufacturers.

George G. Campion

George G. Campion (Of Counsel) was admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1988 and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in 1991.  Mr. Campion focuses his practice on civil litigation in trial and appellate courts and in mediations.  He has represented employers sued for employment discrimination, lawyers, accountants and insurance brokers sued for malpractice, government agencies sued in Title 59 cases and insurers in coverage litigation.

Robert S. Santander

Robert S. Santander (Of Counsel) is a seasoned insurance defense litigator whose practice concentrates on general liability, insurance coverage, premises liability and construction defect litigation. Upon graduating from law school, Robert worked at The Legal Aid Society of New York where he served as a Public Defender in the organization’s Brooklyn Office. Following this position, he embarked on a career that has focused primarily on insurance defense litigation. His experience includes working as a senior trial attorney for several large insurance carriers and law firms in and around New York City.

Kohar M. Boyadjian (Of Counsel) concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance defense, civil litigation, and workers’ compensation. Mark Chereshinsky (Associate) is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.  Mr. Chereshinsky received his undergraduate degrees in Finance and C.P.A. Accounting from the New York University Stern School of Business, and Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law.  Mr. Chereshinsky previously worked as an associate at Bruno, Gerbino, Soriano, and Aitken LLP in Ramsey, New Jersey.

Jordan R. Dewbre

Jordan R. Dewbre (Associate) is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. His practice area is focused on civil litigation: particularly premises, auto, and trucking liability. Mr. Dewbre received his B.A. in International Studies from the University of Oklahoma with minors in Spanish, Economics, and Constitutional Studies and received his J.D. from the Seton Hall University School of Law.
