Christina M. Malamut (Associate) represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters throughout New Jersey in both state and federal court. She focuses her practice in commercial litigation and insurance defense litigation, handling matters in the areas of general commercial disputes, premise and products liability, bus and tractor trailer liability, construction defect litigation, and workers’ compensation defense.
Ms. Malamut is a cum laude graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where she received her undergraduate degree in Education. She graduated cum laude from New York Law School with her J.D.
While in law school, Ms. Malamut was an Articles Editor for the New York Law School Law Review and a team competitor and executive board member of The New York Law School Dispute Resolution Team. She worked as a student mediator in the NYLS Mediation Clinic, a student attorney for The Marriage License Project, and a student journalist for The Center for New York City Law’s CityLaw Journal.
Prior to joining Cottrell Solensky, Ms. Malamut was a litigator at a regional law firm where she practiced general commercial liability litigation and workers’ compensation defense.
Ms. Malamut is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association.
